Joanne L. Bennett was born and raised in New Bedford, MA where she still resides with her husband and two children. In 1996, she started her career in the banking industry as a customer service representative with Bank Boston. She then moved on to CitiFinancial where she accomplished the task of bringing sales to a high as a mortgage specialist which brought on a promotion to Branch Manager at CitiFinancial in Fairhaven MA. However, after managing for a few years, she decided to devote her time to what she enjoys most, which is mortgage consulting, which brought on her next professional move to Loansnap.com where she furthered her knowledge on both refinance and purchase transactions. In May 2006, she joined Atlantis Mortgage Corporation where she brings a lot of knowledge, enthusiasm, and customer relationships from her years in the industry to the Atlantis Mortgage team.

Joanne is on the board of directors of the South End Business Association in New Bedford, MA. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking dancing lessons, decorating cakes for her customers, and she is huge a football fan. She also enjoys taking her miniature pinscher to dog shows where she hopes he will be a champion dog soon. She prides herself most by always finding time to help her customers with their mortgage needs whether it is late at night or on weekends.
