Jay P. Lanagan was born in New Bedford MA but spent most of his early years residing in Mattapoisett MA until his recent transition back to New Bedford with the inception of Atlantis Mortgage Corp. Jay majored in finance at the University of Massachusetts and worked with Merril Lynch until he moved into the mortgage industry in 2002.

Jay is the President of the South Coast Business Alliance (SCBA), an organization dedicated in developing South Eastern Massachusetts business leaders through community development.
