Howie Mallowes is the President and co-founder of Atlantis Mortgage Corporation. He was born and raised in Mattapoisett, MA and is a graduate of Bishop Stang High School and the University of Massachusetts, both of which are in Dartmouth, MA. Howie received his accounting degree from UMass Dartmouth in 2001 and was an active member of the UMass Dartmouth Student Senate while attending school there.

Howie got his start in the mortgage industry immediately upon graduating from college in 2001 and worked for a fairly large mortgage company where he worked his way through the ranks and eventually ended up being Sales Operations Manager for 8 branches within Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In mid 2005, Howie left that position to help open a new mortgage company, which had different visions in mind. After success in assisting in the startup of that company, Howie decided it was time to open a company of his own and in April of 2006, Atlantis Mortgage Corporation opened its doors to the public.

Howie currently resides in Dartmouth with his wife Jenn and his son Howie V. He also has 3 Persian cats, which his wife professionally breeds, and a 240 gallon saltwater fish tank, which maintaining has turned into a big hobby of his. Howie enjoys watching and playing sports and traveling whenever he gets the opportunity to do so with his family.
